The façade of this property required new render protection. The intention was to remove the failing render and apply two new coats directly to the brickwork. On removing the old material, the face of the brickwork was revealed to be delaminating, leaving a very dusty and unreliable surface to key the new render to.
Hyssop Project’s solution was to mechanically fix expanding metal lathing to the wall to provide a sound anchor for the new render.
This application gave the client the added benefit of a 25-year guarantee.
