We were commissioned to install a shower room upstairs in this three-bedroom detached house in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. This involved removing a wall between the hallway and second bedroom to maximise the space available for the new shower room. In this way we were able to incorporate a WC and basin as well as 800x800mm shower tray. To further increase the space within the room we recessed the WC by cutting into the brickwork to the depth of the cistern.
To avoid using a mechanical waste pump system, we ran the waste pipework beneath three rooms to join the existing stack pipe downstairs.
The low-profile shower tray was installed with a 10mm toughened glass shower enclosure with chrome finishes. White metro 200x100mm tiles were added from floor to ceiling and finished with a charcoal grout and mastic.
